A little planning helps you choose pieces that suit your plants and your space. This checklist applies to anything you buy for your plants, including products not made by VerdaForge.
1. Observe your plant
Notice how the plant is growing now: where new leaves appear, which way it leans, and whether it is outgrowing its pot. A plant that is doing well where it is may not need anything new.
2. Check the light
Watch how much light the spot gets through the day. Sometimes raising a plant or moving it closer to a window matters more than any accessory.
3. Measure your space
Measure your pot’s outside diameter and height, and the depth and width of the sill, shelf, or table where it will sit. Keep those measurements handy when comparing product dimensions.
4. Check the complete setup
Read what is included and what must be purchased separately. For a planter, check how drainage and watering work. For a propagation station, check whether the vessels are included. Match the listed dimensions before combining pieces.
5. Follow the product instructions
Assembly, watering, and care depend on the specific product and material. Use the instructions for your exact model rather than assuming similar-looking pieces work the same way.
6. Ask if you’re unsure
If the fit or the way something works is unclear, ask before ordering. We would rather help you choose well than sell you the wrong piece.
